Autumn Memories - Pathfinding Paper Pack II

Welcome to part II of the layout...
The branches are again hand drawn on a 3" x 12" piece of chocolate cardstock. I treated them the same way as I did the tree trunk. Both branches fit next to each other on the cardstock strip. I stamped with the wood-grain stamp, cut the branches out and sponged around the edges. One branch is for page one of the layout and will line up with the little stump on the top of the tree.

To adhere the other branch, place your base for page two next to page one and line both branches up.

I cut three autumn terracotta colored photo mats and two barn red mats. You can arrange them any way you want. All five are cut 3" x 4". The three top once (like the mat on page I) have a piece of hemp attached and are place under the branch so it looks like they are hanging from it. Leaves and cork bottoms hold the strings in place.

I adhered the other two mats flat on the bottom. Make sure all your leaves, pumpkins and acorns are edged before you place them on the page. Spread them along the bottom and raise some with foam dots to give more dimension to the page. The pumpkin and acorns are stamped and cut out.

If you cover your photo mats with some leaves or part of the pumpkin, make sure that the overlapping part is not adhered to the photo mat, only to the page. This way you can slide your photo behind it with no problem.

For extra photo display or journaling I added one "Memory Protector Flip Flap" 3" x 4" (Z3027) to the layout. You can use more if you like. Once your page is ready and placed in your page protector, simply remove the strip adhesive cover from the flip flap and adhere it right over one of the photo mats. Fill it with extra photos, memorabilia or journaling.

You can create this layout in one of my classes, or you can order the kit including everything you see on the layout. (Papers pre-cut, stamping done and complete colored instructions with pictures included). You can also purchase the layout assembled and ready to go....
