A Tea-Bag Dispenser

We like to mix things up in class once in a while and this month was the perfect time to create a little teabag dispenser.

Since the winter seems to carry on and temperatures are dropping into the minuses, what better time to enjoy a cup of tea?

This was a fun project to do and beside a bit more time and careful gluing it make a great item for a gift or to enjoy in your own kitchen.

I created the base from a 6"x12" piece of yellow cardstock. Once assembled I placed it on a rectangular piece of cardstock as its base. It is just a bit bigger than the box itself. I covered the bottom of the inside with a piece of the green design paper.

The outside is decorated with pieces of outdoor denim cardstock and two design paper pieces. To cover the seem between the two papers we used a border strip that runs around the whole box.

The lid is made from a separate piece of yellow cardstock and some design paper. The lid guarantees for a simple filling and refilling of teabags.

A medallion in the front finishes this little box off.

My dispenser is sitting in the kitchen filled with wonderful Roibush tea and is waiting to be used. What are you going to do with yours?

This box can be created in many different colors, so if you have a special someone you would like to give a little gift of tea, let me know and we create a box for it. Or I can make it for you...

Come join my monthly classes and learn how to make these very special gifts and wonderful cards. No matter if you are new to this or if you are a pro, all level will be covert.

All papers, embellishments as seen and instructions are included and if you don't have your own adhesives etc, no problem, I can provided for you for a small extra fee...so what are you waiting for...Email Me! I would love to have you in my next class.
