New Close To My Heart - July-September 2022 Idea Book Walkthrough Part 2

New Close To My Heart - July-September 2022 Idea Book Walkthrough Part 1

Wow, here it is the brand-new 2022 July - September Idea Book Walkthrough. Yes, we have a 3-month book now starting with the July-Sep 2022 one. I don't know how corporate does it each and every time, but this book is again full of stunning artwork, new beautiful paper collections and stamps.

I recorded the walkthrough in two parts. Part 1 is introducing you to the new paper collections in this book and the matching embellishments, digital art collections, paper packs, PML cards, stamp sets and cardstock.

Today we are using one of my favorite papers from Close To My Heart. I know the paper is long sold out, but the stamp set of the “In Full Bloom” is still available. During the month of June you will get this set at the Stamptacular Sale for a discount too.

A special Thanks to Monica Hayward who came up with this design. I will go over the measurements throughout the video. It’s a simple fold but makes for a unique card.

Card Class June 2022 - Project 1 “Sip Sip Hurray”

Welcome to my June card class projects. This is a fun and easy design. You can apply the segments to many cards. Sadly the “Sip Sip Hurray” stamp set from Close To My Heart is no longer available, but if you don’t have a set of glasses like this on hand, be creative. Check for sets with multiple different items of a kind, e.g. coffee mugs, tea/coffee pots, cakes, bottles, flowers, animals, …you get the idea.

Tip:

I know I mentioned in the video I will explain how to use a base with the phrase already stamped on the inside, if you don’t need the phrase… well LOL I forgot, so I sliced in a little note. 

If you find yourself with a set that already contains a phrase on the inside, simply fold your card base the other way. Now the phrase can be found on the front (outside) of the card. Take your design papers and cover the front as suggested in the video and your phrase will disappear. Now you have a blank inside.

Card Making Class Project 4 - Sweet as Honey

 

A couple of months ago Close To My Heart introduced the super popular paper collection “Sweet as Honey”. It sold out in no time especially the “Sweet As Honey” cardmaking workshop. CTMH literally reordered the set 3 times and each time is sold out within an hour. 

Now, fast forward, they ordered a final 4th order and many of you where able to finally get your set of the kit. If you haven’t yet, there are only a few more workshop kits available. I love this set and beside the 4 designs you can make in the workshop there are endless possibilities to make more cards like this one….or use it for your scrapbook pages.
