It has been awhile since I create a new layout, but here we are …. I was looking at my new Stampin’Up design papers on my desk and the Bloom Boutique was calling my name LOL. I found some pictures that were just perfect for this project and a sketch to make my live easier. A new stamp & die set and a beautiful 3D embossing folder were also on my list to use. I am very happy with the end result and I hope you will enjoy the process video too. Here are a few detailed pictures. Hope on over to my YouTube Channel and see how this layout came together.
Hope you all had a nice Halloween yesterday. So I have one more Halloween layout from the workshop kit for you. This time I scrap-lifted my friend Erin’s layout 😊 I have created 3 different layouts with this workshop kit and I still have enough papers left to make at least 1 or 2 more, but they have to wait. Next the Autumn workshop. I have to say this set here was a lot of fun to work with.
I am having so much fun with the Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit from Stampin’Up! Love the bright colors in this set and you can create 3 fun double page Halloween layouts with this set. I decided to make it even more interesting for you. I am creating 3 different double page layouts from the same set, so you have even more ideas to choose from. Last week I showed you Layout No.1 and you can find the link to this one in the description for today’s video.
It’s the third Friday of the month and this means another Scrapbook Challenge is on. This time I am using the Stampin’Up! Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit and if you know me, I did my own thing. Yup….couldn’t resist the fun papers. While the workshop layouts are pretty and you too will be able to create 3 double page, I thought I give you a few extra layouts to choose or recreate. So here is the first one… https://youtu.be/2cscTGjf2j8?si=TFEx7iVhH8_X79Fb
I love to work with sketches when I create a layout, but sometimes my picture sizes just don’t work, or do they? Changing a sketch to make it fit your photos is easy and something I do all the time. In this video I show you how I changed it just a bit to make my sizes and more photos work. If you have never worked with a sketch, give it a try. It makes creating so much easier. Hope over to my YT channel and see for yourself https://youtu.be/awsik-gBZXI?si=F3TK4zv67t7yNIQ8
This layout took a bit longer than expected. Not because it was so difficult, but rather that there was too much going on since last week. Well, I finally finished it and I love how it turned out. The Frames & Florals Special 12x12 paper pack is so cute and it includes die-cuts ready to use. I used even the “throw-away” part LOL.
Happy Friday everyone, today I am joining a collaboration from Erin over at Crafty Concepts with Erin. We are using the pattern 12 from the CTMH Make it from Your Heart Vol. 6 to create this months layouts. Make sure to check out the other ladies creations.
Happy Friday, today I have a cute layout for you. Have you ever gone through your household items and thought “Ha, I can use this for my scrapbooking”? No? Well check out what I found and used for this layout, plus a few cool techniques to stretch your products even further.
Have fun watching and let me know in the comments if you are going to try this.
Happy Friday Everyone…Do you find it difficult to match the right cardstock colors and design papers with your layouts? I know, there are so many different combinations and somehow it always seems like nothing is matching up, right? Now think of having to merge products from two companies together…I know colors are not the same, designs don’t work with each other….but what if I can show you in today’s video one of my approaches on how to match things up.
Happy Friday Carfty Friends, creating a scrapbook layout can be intimidating especially when you have a ton for photos to deal with. No matter if you are a beginner or a pro, sometimes the stack of photos sitting in front of you is just too much. Let me show you how I try to “downsize” my stack and how I ended up with 13 pictures on a double page layout.
Today I like to share a couple layouts with you that have plenty of room for many photos. I hope you enjoy the little walk though and if you like to see a process video or one of the kits to make at home, leave me a comment down below. Let me know what you think of these layout ideas….
I almost forgot about this short video showing of the beautiful “The Good Life” scrapbooking workshop from Close To My Heart. This workshop is featured in the September - October Idea Book from Close To My Heart. Beside the gorgeous colors in this set, the workshop really has some amazing layouts. The guide in the workshop is easy to understand and shows you exactly how to cut your papers for each layout and where to place the pieces on your page base.
I followed the included instructions pretty close with the exception of two small changes, but you will see in the video they are pretty simple to archive if you like to follow along.
Three stunning double page layouts are the result of this kit plus a lot of paper and stickers left to create at least one more double page layout.
Have a look and see for yourself. This workshop kit was still available when I shot the video and posted in on my channel.
Thanks for watching and please give me thumbs up if you like the video and if you haven’t already done so, I would love if you subscribe to my channel. Any questions? Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me directly.
GOOD NEWS…The sketch I used for this layout came from the “Make It from Your Heart”-Volume 3 and this one is still available. The item number here is 9043 and you might want to pick up one of our 6x8 Albums for storage.
Volumes 1-5 otherwise have been retire but, spoiler alert, there will be a new book coming out September 1st. 😉
The leave die cuts came from different digital cartridges from Close To My Heart and were cut with my Cricut. The golden sparkles I added at the end have also been retired.
Regarding the Close To My Heart Cardstock, it is two toned. One side as the original/darker color and the back side is a light hue of the color. You can get out cardstock in packages of 24. We also have great Coordinating Cardstock Packs that come with every paper collection. These contain a nice selection of papers working perfectly with your projects. Or if you like to mix your own pack of cardstock, try our Custom Cardstock Packs were you can choose which colors you like. The custom packages come in 12 or 24 sheets. https://claudiahenderson.closetomyheart.com/Retail/Products.aspx?CatalogID=218
If you have any questions regarding the layout, technique or products, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for watching and keep crafting💕
Here is my Bonus Video from the Close to My Heart “Cape Cod” Scrapbooking Workshop. With all my leftover pieces and by just adding 2 sheets of cardstock I was able to create one more layout. This bonus layout uses up some of the leftover stickers and more of the extra embellishments we created last week with the Cape Cod Scrapbooking Stamp & Thincut set.
How easy was it to assemble the first 2 layouts from the Close to My Heart “Cape Cod” Scrapbooking Workshop kit? If you missed my previous videos, check out my YouTube Channel or find them here on my FB page. So today we will finish together the 3. Layout of this workshop kit. I think it is one of my favorites and with a few tweaks it is even better.
Our CTMH Workshop Kits are designed to create 3 double page layouts for. Most often if I change my cutting just a bit, I am left with extra pieces and papers to make another layout spread. Here is the second layout of the “Cape Cod” workshop.
Today I start a 3+bonus video series about the Close to My Heart “Cape Cod” Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. See how easy it is to put these kits together and how much you can change them if you like. I even have one bonus video with a 4th layout for you. Made from leftover pieces of the kit.
Using up some of my stash....papers from multiple years, die cuts with current cardstock colors and stamps from a previous Idea Book which both are still available, and there you have it.... a colorful Fall Layout!
Having fun with the Close To My Heart "Snow Much Fun" stamp & die set and the upcoming Stamp Of the Month for November. Check out the 3 Scrapbooking Workshops in the current Oct-Dec Idea Book and see if you can find which workshop uses the same picture collages ;-)
