I almost forgot about this short video showing of the beautiful “The Good Life” scrapbooking workshop from Close To My Heart. This workshop is featured in the September - October Idea Book from Close To My Heart. Beside the gorgeous colors in this set, the workshop really has some amazing layouts. The guide in the workshop is easy to understand and shows you exactly how to cut your papers for each layout and where to place the pieces on your page base.
I followed the included instructions pretty close with the exception of two small changes, but you will see in the video they are pretty simple to archive if you like to follow along.
Three stunning double page layouts are the result of this kit plus a lot of paper and stickers left to create at least one more double page layout.

Aren’t these owls adorable? This is our Stamp Of The Month for October from Close To My Heart. It is only available Oct 1 - Oct 31, 2023 and for the first time it also comes with its own thin cuts. Yes, Close To My Heart listens to our suggestions …LOL.
With this card I used some older embossed card stock I found in my stash, some woodgrain paper from CTMH and our Mocha Ink to give it a quick coloring job.

Oh I am so in love with these cute owls. Fall, Winter and even Christmas ….can you see the possibilities too? This is the Close To My Heart Stamp of The Month for October. Yes, this one is only available Oct 1-31 so if you plan on getting this, don’t wait. But before you order, do you know that this set comes with its own thin cuts? Yeaaaaaahhhhh, Close to My Heart listened to us and created thin cuts for the Stamp of The Month. Naturally I had to have both, right? Who wouldn’t, right? If there is one stamp set from the current Sep-Oct Idea Book from Close To My Heart I wanted right of the bat, it was this one. Not only is this poinsettia stamp set beautiful but I also love the banner and the sentiments that are included in the set. For an extra bonus, you can also get a matching embossing folder and stencil with this set. This trio was so in demand that by the time I had this post set up items sold out. You still can get the stamps D2185 but the dies are already sold out. Sadly the embossing folder also sold out a few days ago. The stencils Z7062 are great all year round and you can still get these.

In this video I will show you a quick and easy way to enhance your die cuts just a little bit. One way to enhance them is to use colored cardstock which is an instant coloring. In my case here I used our light grey “Pebble” cardstock. It is retired but there is still some cardstock left to be ordered. We also have a cardstock called “Linen” that would work well with this card.

Thanksgiving is around the corner and what better way to use this cute stamp set from Close To My Heart called “Ready to Gobble”. I am also using our new coloring pencils to give the stamped images some character.
The coloring pencils are a must have. Not only are they pretty inexpensive but they are also super creamy. Due to a wax type lead they blend perfectly and are so smooth when you color.
