Why make live complicated especially when it comes to creating Christmas cards, right? If you are like me and you send out dozens of cards each season, you don’t want to create complicated cards. Here is another example of a super easy to make card. Thanks to my friend Erin Jacobson who designed multiple cards from one sheet of design paper. I picked this one and alternated it for my class. It only takes a few minutes to make this card so check it out: https://youtu.be/3_Iiht1tS6U?si=SGP_otZdLY198FpG

Oh those paper scraps keep piling up in my stash and I need to do something with them. What better way to use them than in a card. Today we use up some of these scraps to create a cute Birthday Card.
Get out your scraps and stamps and let’s craft together.
My card base is 4.25”x5.5” and my blue base layer is cut at 4” x 5.25”
Each square is cut at 1.24” and we need 9 squares for this card.
You can use any embellishment you have ….Happy Crafting
We all have scraps laying around and in this month’s class I thought I should use up some of mine. Sometimes with designing cards for a lot of ladies that will be coming to class is a bit tricky, because often I only have 2 maybe 3 sheets of design paper from one kind…. and I might need 2-3 more. So what do you do when you don’t have enough? Well, you cut them more strategically right? Yes and sometimes you just use all these wonderful scraps you have been stashing away.
Today I am also taking advantage of one of my favorite ways to create a background, by using stamps that are design to create blotchy backgrounds.
Enjoy the video and let me know what you think in the comments down below.
Let’s wet some cardstock and crumble it up to a tiny little ball, then carefully unfold and let it dry. I know it sounds weird but it is a fun technique to bring more texture to your project.

Who doesn’t like butterflies right? The Close to My Heart Honey Bunny design paper has these beautiful pastel colors that remind you of spring and I had to combine them with some butterflies to get ready for spring. Have a look how you can create a fun card front by using just a few stripes of paper and some cute little butterflies.
Today’s card is a simple but very pretty sympathy card. The stamp sets I used for this card are retired but still a staple in my stash. See how a little fun fold can transform a simple card into something special.

Today’s card making video is all about these cute little snails that come in the Happy Snail Trails stamp set (C2015) from Close To My Heart. While the set with the dies is sold out, the stamp set itself is still available and a little fuzzy cutting with your scissor will embellish any card.
Enjoy the process video for my Snail Mail Card for April:
