My favorite new Frame style Thin Cuts from Close To My Heart

One of my new favorite thin cuts are the frame style ones.  One is a scalloped edge thin cut which is great for shaker cards too. The other one is a window thin cut which I use a lot for cards and finally, remember the old Polaroid photos? Yes you can now recreate this style with a Polaroid thin cut. thin cuts but you know me by know, I get mine with the thin cuts. I love the “Snow Mice & Thin Cut” set. You might have gotten the Strawberry set we had last year as a special, but these ones are so cute. Color them in with out new Colorista Pencils or the Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers or anything you have on hand. Did you ever tried to use our inks to color? So much fun too.

But beside the little snow mice,… the Humming Bird Wings Stamp & Thin Cut set was the other one I got right away. Let’s talk embellishments

 

Embellishments you can’t ever have enough off. Yes I said it 😂 we crafters can not have enough embellishments and Close To My Heart has some beautiful ones. The first picture shows the “Sweet Memories” embellishments which are cardboard die-cuts. Super flat and the grey color is a staple to have. You better get a few of these because they will work with anything in your stash. Plus you can color them in if you like. The “Let’s Party” embellishments are produced in house and again are a great edition for any card or layout. Any of the embellishments show here are not bulky at all and therefor will not put any thickness to your project. The colored dots are one of my favorites too since they come in so many colors and different shapes and sizes. For more bling I us our super tiny Itty Bitty Sparkles.

Close To My Heart Mix-In Paper Collections

The new Close To My Heart Idea Book includes a new Mix-In paper collection on top of the two main ones. The Mix-In papers are meant to work with each of the two main collections but they can also be used on their own. They are timeless and the design is so settle that I always end up getting at least 2 packs of these papers. Why you might ask, well these are packs that come with only 6 sheets of double sided papers. Sweet Memories SVG digital art collection…..you might ask “What is a digital art collection”? Well if you have an electronic diecutting machine like a Cricut Air, Maker or any other diecutting machine that can use SVG files to cut out objects, you are in the market for these digital collections. 

All you do is order the collection and there will be no shipping costs since you will receive this collection digitally. So when you have ordered the set, what now? Sweet Memories Cardmaking & Scrapbooking stamp and thin cut sets

 

Last week we have seen the two special dedicated stamp and thin cuts sets for the “Let’s Party” collection and today we have a look at the ones for the “Sweet Memories” one. I always talk about the sizes of these sets and that the cardmaking one will always work with both, cardmaking and scrapbooking. The scrapbooking set on the other hand sometimes is too big to fit on cards. Well with the Sweet Memories scrapbooking set I think we have one that will not work to well with cards. You can see for yourself in the sample pictures, but in any event, I like the style of both set. The cardmaking has so many great tags and I can see them on layouts and cards.
