December Card Class Project 2 - Pinwheel Christmas Card

This is the second card from my December Card Making Class. Please let me know if you have questions or like any measurements. I used the Close to My Heart design paper collection “Cedar&Pine” and “Evergreen” cardstock for this project.

 Here is our last card class project for 2021. Yes, it already has been a year. For our December class we will make something special so stay tuned for that. But back to this card. I love this "shadowing" technique with the white pigment ink and a hint of color on top. Wonder how this technique was done? Check back here for the video instructions. Just a few pieces are needed for this card

and a tree or pine branch stamp of your choice. You can use any dark colored cardstock you have on hand for this

This week we have a look at another different style of dressing up your cardbase with a simple fold. Easel cards are a wonderful way to add to any Holiday. The stamp set used is a retired nativity scene and it works perfect for this design. The individual parts of the set are stamped on circles and yes, you can leave them as circles, but I cut the bottom part of to give it more interest.

Here is the second card we made in my November Card Class. A few paper pieces and embellishments starting this one out. The main focus though is the beautiful stamp set used here. I embossed it with some gold glitter powder to make it shiny and sparkle.
