Hillside Cottage Workshop Project My Way

While this workshop comes with a great design for 3 double page layouts, I had to change it a bit since my photos didn’t work with the layouts in the kit. So why by a kit then right? Well there are so many great ideas and techniques involved in each of them plus you get special designed cutouts, papers and more.

I always love to buy these kits and just add an extra pack of coordination cardstock with it. This way if I need to change a layout I have plenty of cardstock to work with, plus I can create more pages...

At the same time I can just assemble the layouts like described in the instruction guide. Every piece of paper that might need to be cut, every die cut and special paper is included. You can detailed instructions on how to created all three layouts. 

I mix and match my layouts all depending on the photos I have put aside for the project. Yes, before you start with either the workshop guide or your own creations, make sure you have your pictures ready to go because it is so much easier to work with the sets, if you have photos to match them too.

I love these extra photo storages since you can easily add extra photos to a layout without adding another page or two.
