Now on with the projects.
I love to color and I love to try different mediums. Here I used watercolor pencils, ZIG Clean Brush Markers, Spectrum Aqua Marker and some real watercolor paint from Gansai Tambi. I will explain the different techniques in the up coming week here on my blog because otherwise this blog post will get way to long :-) You will be able to see more pictures of the projects as well. So stay tuned and come back often.
For all of you that like to try it....A good set of Water-Coloring Pencils is my absolute favorite!!! (see why next week)

Wow, love all of your cards! So pretty, inside and out!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer, stay tuned during next week and see more about water coloring and products and techniques...to much to put in on post :-)
DeleteThey are all great. If the first one was done with watercolor pencils, I see why it is your favorite. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise, I will have more detailed projects on the blog next week. More pencil coloring too so you can really see why they are the best to start with...;-)
DeleteCard 1: Gansai Tambi, Card 2: Watercolor pencils, Card 3: Spectrum Aqua and Card 4 + 5: ZIG Marker
I see we have the same taste in flowers Claudia! Only you did a far better job in water coloring yours...such a beautiful blend of colors. There's so much I love here, I don't know where to start. With the first card, I just love that riot of color...Mother Nature really knows what she's doing and so do you. And I love you showed it in the two orientations! The roses are all beautiful, but I sure do love what you did with the acetate. And your last card is so clever. I love how you cut it into sections. I sure do love hopping with you! Can't wait to see what you come up with next month and your follow-up posts from this hop!
ReplyDeletelovely cards!
ReplyDeleteAlicia
Thank You Alicia....keep crafting
DeleteGorgeous cards Claudia! I think the cut away rose is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThank You Theresa, I have to say the pictures I took this time don't even come close to the real colors ...rrrr. The first and third rose both were colored on watercolor paper and then fuzzy cut and adhered to black cardstock. Thanks for hosting this hop
DeleteSo many great cards. I like the acetate one and would love to try that myself sometime. My favorite is the last one. Such a pretty blue!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sharon. I agree the blues are so fun to work with and they are only three shades of the ZIG markers. They have such vibrant colors....Thanks for hopping along
DeleteThese are just beautiful. I love how you decorate and show the insides of cards. I think my favorite is that last one, but I spent a lot of time studying all of them. The acetate one is fabulous. You do beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie. I have to say, colors and details aren't as good in the pictures as they are in reality. Couldn't get my camera work right...LOL or it was the photographer! Yes, the acetate was fun and really easy to make. Roses one and three both were colored on watercolor paper, then fuzzy cut and adhered to a black cardstock background. I will have more photos of them this week. I always try to decorate the insides too, makes such a different to a card and not a lot of extra work....keep hopping :-)
