Christmas Cards - Vellum Covered

Here are a few more samples of the card I showed here on Monday. I do like how the vellum tones down the colors and give the picture a cozy and mustery look. 

This close-up shows a little more how the vellum and the pictures are attached to the card base. Vellum is hard to adhere since the adhesive usually shows through. I added an extra 1/4" to the left side of the vellum, bend it to the back and adhered the 1/4" to the front of the card base. Now I place the picture right on top and the vellum is secured and I don't have to worry about adhesive showing through.

The vellum stays nice attached to the front and creates a peak-a-boo effect.
